Deciding to file a suppressor transfer as an individual or with a trust can be a hard decision. If you do decide to go with a trust, we want to take the complexity and sticker shock out of it. Once you place an order for a NFA Gun Trust, we’ll contact you by email, and you’ll answer a few quick questions (Your name, what you want to name the trust, etc). Once everything is reviewed, you’ll receive a digital copy of your Gun Trust.
Just print out your trust, get it notarized, and you’re good to go.
This is a 50 State legal Gun Trust, optimal for NFA items in any state where those are legal. The trust is well suited for non-NFA firearms, and it can be used for non-firearm property as well, should you so desire.
Your trust will be easy to use, and easy to understand. You can add or remove trustees at your convenience. You can add or remove (non-NFA) firearms or other property easily as well.
Why a Trust? We don’t want to push anyone into using a trust if it’s not what they want or need. There is one big factor that you can use to decide one way or the other: Do you want other named individuals to be able to possess and use the NFA items on the trust while you are not present? If not, then this probably isn’t the product for you, and you can happily file as an individual. If you answered yes, then you’ll want to have a trust made.
As with all legal matters, consultation with an attorney in your state is recommended. The information presented here is not a substitute for appropriate legal advice in your state.
